In 2012, members from St Michael’s Anglican Cathedral were looking for new ways to spread the good news of Jesus Christ beyond the Wollongong CBD.
After countless meetings and prayer over several months, a small group of Christians from St Michael’s, along with Reverend Jim Douglass, decided to start a Bible-based church and foster a new community in Coniston.
The Coniston Anglican Church went public on Easter Sunday 2013, celebrating Jesus’ death and resurrection.
We offer family-friendly services from 4pm on Sundays, with supper to follow.
No matter your age, religious background, nationality or shoe size, we believe all people are important to God and we invite you to join our community.
